Mike Patton has kicked off his tour with Avett Brothers, performing tracks from Faith No More and Mr Bungle. The collaboration, known as AVTT/PTTN, was announced last year and has since released a self-titled debut album. The tour, which started in Louisville and Nashville, features a mix of new material and classic tracks from Patton’s other projects. Some notable performances include Faith No More’s ‘Digging The Grave’ and ‘Ashes To Ashes’, as well as Mr Bungle’s ‘Retrovertigo’.
The setlist also included Avett Brothers tracks like ‘Ain’t No Man’ and ‘No Hard Feelings’, as well as covers of Dean Martin and Roger Miller songs. The tour comes after Patton seemingly confirmed that Faith No More has disbanded, but he doesn’t see it as a sad thing. Patton has also been involved in other projects, including Tomahawk, which recently announced a US tour. The AVTT/PTTN tour is highly anticipated, and fans can check out footage and the full setlist online.
