Timbaland’s AI artist TaTa Taktumi has signed with Pacific Music Group, a Pan-Asian music and entertainment company. TaTa was created as part of Timbaland’s AI entertainment company Stage Zero. Pacific Music Group will exclusively manage TaTa across Asia, acting as her record label for upcoming releases. The company, founded in 2025 and headquartered in Hong Kong, will start rolling out TaTa’s releases and collaborations across Asia in the coming months.
Along with the new deal, it was announced that the artist who created TaTa is of Filipino heritage. This acknowledgment reflects the human voice and perspective at the heart of the music. TaTa’s creation was first announced in June 2025, alongside the founding of Stage Zero. Timbaland said that TaTa is a living, learning, autonomous music artist built with AI, and represents a shift towards hyper creativity, opening the door for a new generation of artists and a new era of entertainment to emerge.
