Sublime has announced their first new album in 30 years, ‘Until The Sun Explodes’, which also marks their first album with Jakob Nowell on vocals. The ska legends confirmed last year they were working on new music with help from Travis Barker, and the album is set to be released on June 12 via Atlantic. It features collaborations with notable artists such as H.R., Pennywise’s Fletcher Dragge, G. Love, FIDLAR, and Skegss.
The album’s title track has been dropped, with Jakob paying tribute to his father, original Sublime vocalist Bradley Nowell. The tracklist includes 21 songs, and the band is set to play in the UK for the first time at Slam Dunk Festival. Founding member Bud Gaugh expressed gratitude and intent for the future, while Eric Wilson shared his excitement for the album, saying it will set the tone for the summer of 2026. The album is a tribute to Sublime’s expansive works and a thank you to Bradley Nowell’s legacy.
