Soulwax has shared a documentary exploring their world-first ‘After Hours’ rave at Abbey Road Studios. The Belgian brother duo held a five-hour rave at the iconic recording studio in London for a select group of 300 fans. The documentary, titled Abbey Road After Hours, shows what happened in the days leading up to the event, including recording a brand new track in Abbey Road’s Studio Two, titled ‘Perfect We Are Not’, which was cut directly to vinyl and debuted as the opening track of their 2manydjs rave set.
The event was the first time Abbey Road Studios has opened its doors to the public for such an event, with the rave itself taking place in the esteemed Studio One space. Soulwax used their DEEWEE Soundsystem, based on New York’s iconic Paradise Garage, for the first time. The duo recently shared their first album in over seven years, ‘All Systems Are Lying’, and wrapped up their 2026 tour, including shows at O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester and O2 Academy Brixton in London.
