RAYE’s sophomore album ‘THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE.’ has made a remarkable debut, entering the top 10 on four Billboard album charts. The album starts at No. 8 on the Top Album Sales chart and also reaches the top 10 on Independent Albums (No. 3), Indie Store Album Sales (No. 6), and Vinyl Albums (No. 8). Additionally, it debuts at No. 11 on the overall Billboard 200 chart.
The album’s success follows the smash single ‘WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!,’ which has spent three months in the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. RAYE is currently on her North American tour, which kicked off on March 31 and will continue through May 13. She will also join Bruno Mars’ The Romantic Tour as an opening act from August 21 to October 17. The album is one of seven titles to debut in the top 10 on the Top Album Sales chart, alongside notable releases from BTS, Melanie Martinez, and Charlie Puth.
