Oprah Winfrey, a renowned media mogul, recently appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, where she shared her incredible life story. She revealed that she has been fortunate enough to have all her wildest dreams come true, except for one – marrying her teenage crush, Paul McCartney. Winfrey confessed that she was the only girl in her circle who loved The Beatles, and of course, Paul was her favorite member of the band. She even collected Beatles trading cards and would try to make him think of her by standing on the stairs and saying, ‘Think of me, think of me, think of me.’
Winfrey’s dream of meeting Paul McCartney eventually came true, and she even got to ask him if he had ever thought of her during her teenage years. McCartney’s response was every fan’s dream come true – ‘Every day, babe, every day.’ Although Winfrey never married McCartney, they did participate in a special ceremony together when they were both awarded Kennedy Center Honors in 2010. With McCartney’s new album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, set to release on May 29, fans can presave it and watch Winfrey’s full Colbert interview to relive the magic of their special bond.
