Muse kicked off their new era by debuting new songs from their upcoming album ‘The Wow! Signal’ at London’s O2 Academy Brixton. The intimate show saw the band perform fan favorites and new tracks, including ‘Cryogen’ and ‘Be With You’. Fans had been queuing since the day before to get to the front row, with tickets selling out almost immediately after the gig was announced.
The band’s setlist included a mix of old and new songs, with ‘Hysteria’, ‘Map of the Problematique’, and ‘New Born’ getting the crowd excited. The debut of ‘Cryogen’ and ‘Be With You’ was met with enthusiasm, with the latter featuring a ticker tape and confetti explosion. Muse also teased a full UK arena tour in November, before closing their set with ‘Knights of Cydonia’ and returning for an encore of ‘The 2nd Law: Isolated System’, ‘Undisclosed Desires’, and ‘Starlight’.
