The Stagecoach Festival was briefly evacuated on Saturday night due to high winds at the Empire Polo Club in Indio. The country music festival, headlined by Post Malone, Lainey Wilson, and Cody Johnson, was forced to pause performances and evacuate the area. An emergency message appeared on screens, instructing attendees to exit the festival grounds. However, about an hour later, the festival resumed, with some sets delayed or cancelled, including those by Marshmello, Journey, and Riley Green.
Despite the disruptions, the festival continued, with Lainey Wilson’s set pushed back to 10:30 pm. The final day of the festival is set to take place today, with Post Malone headlining and support acts including Third Eye Blind and Hootie & The Blowfish. The temporary evacuation was a result of severe weather conditions, similar to those that affected Coachella earlier this month, where American-Italian DJ and producer Anyma was unable to perform due to strong winds.
