KODANSHA is hosting a large-scale exhibition in Tokyo to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Ghost in the Shell. The exhibition, titled ‘Ghost And The Shell,’ will take place from January 30 to April 5, 2026, at the TOKYO NODE GALLERY in Toranomon Hills. It will feature over 1,600 archives, original artworks, and manuscripts, including never-before-seen materials, from across the franchise’s history.
The exhibition will also include immersive and interactive exhibits, such as TechnoByobu’s AR experience, as well as contributions from renowned directors and artists. Over 100 unique collaborative items will be available for purchase, including works from Hajime Sorayama and Mai Yoneyama.
