BTS is back with a new music video for their song ‘2.0’, inspired by the classic South Korean film ‘Oldboy’. The K-pop superstars dropped the visual just two weeks after their return from a four-year hiatus. The music video begins with the septet exiting an elevator and encountering thugs in a dark corridor, but instead of fighting, they use their dance skills to ward off their opponents.
The video transitions through different settings, including a dark hallway and a dirty bathroom, where the band showcases their choreographed dance moves. The septet then changes into modern outfits, reflecting the song’s lyrics, and closes out the video in a high-rise building setting. The ‘2.0’ music video comes after the band’s album and lead single ‘SWIM’ debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100, respectively.
