BTS kicked off their two-night stint on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, with all seven members sitting down for an interview after recording a performance of “SWIM” earlier in the day at The Guggenheim. The crowd was filled with ARMY fans, who were treated to a surprise entrance by the group, who made their way to the stage from behind the audience, touching fans’ hands on the way down. A pre-recorded bit showed fans singing “SWIM” in a recording booth, only to be surprised by Fallon and the BTS members on the other side.
The interview featured humorous moments from each of the seven members, including RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook. The crowd was in stitches as Jin argued that humans have two butts, and j-hope joked that he would need to practice if he were the eighth member of BTS. The group’s performance of “SWIM” and their interview will air on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, with additional episodes airing on Thursday night and streaming on Peacock the next day.
