Flea, the renowned Red Hot Chili Peppers’ bassist, has made his solo Billboard chart debut with his first solo album, ‘Honora’. The jazz project has launched in the top 10 on Billboard’s Jazz Albums, Contemporary Jazz Albums, and Indie Store Album Sales charts. It also debuted on Vinyl Albums, Top Album Sales, and the overall Billboard 200.
‘Honora’ is the highest debut of 2026 thus far on either Jazz Albums or Contemporary Jazz Albums. The album features guest vocal turns from Nick Cave and Radiohead’s Thom Yorke. Flea will bring ‘Honora’ on the road starting May 7 in Chicago, with tour dates lined up through July 11 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The album is a culmination of Flea’s lifelong passion for jazz, which he grew up listening to and eventually led him to pick up the bass and join the Red Hot Chili Peppers as a teenager.
