Muñoz expressed his gratitude, stating that the No. 1s are ‘like a big hug to the entire team’ that has worked tirelessly to ensure his music reaches those who need it most.
‘Mi Yo De Antes’ has been a steady climber since its release in February, eventually reaching the summit of the chart in its seventh week. The song’s success has also led to Muñoz breaking his previous tie with El Fantasma and joining an elite group of solo artists with 10 or more No. 1s on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart. The track is the first single from Muñoz’s forthcoming album ‘8847’, slated for an August release, which promises to include introspective tracks and collaborations with notable artists.
