Anna Calvi has shared a new collaborative track with Matt Berninger, ‘Is This All There Is?’, a reflective song about the bravery it takes to hope. The track, originally written for Joanna Hogg’s The Souvenir Part II, features Berninger’s epic and ancient voice, which Calvi felt was perfect for the song’s big existential question. Calvi and Berninger are both searching for answers together, yet somehow always apart, creating a beautiful dynamic.
Calvi’s upcoming EP, also titled ‘Is This All There Is?’, features collaborations with Berninger, Laurie Anderson, Iggy Pop, and Perfume Genius. The EP is set to release on March 20 and can be pre-ordered now. Calvi has previously worked on various projects, including the score for Peaky Blinders and a charity album ‘Help(2)’ alongside Arctic Monkeys and Beck. Berninger, meanwhile, has been working on new music, including his solo album ‘Get Sunk’ and upcoming projects with The National.
